Use a Garlic-Mint Spray-
For controlling pests outdoors, use a garlic-mint spray. To prepare this spray, you will need a few cloves of garlic, which you will have to blend with a couple of mint leaves. Add a little cayenne paper and a drop of dishwashing liquid to this mixture. You will then have to boil the mixture and then let it cool. Now, allow the concoction to sit for the night. In the morning, strain it, and put the strained water into a spray bottle. Your garlic-mint spray is ready! This is an effective remedy and should be used regularly to keep your pests away.
Coffee is a great weapon-
Pests and critters can’t stand coffee. In fact, coffee is dangerous for ants. So, this is a great way to stop your bugs from coming out of their holes. Just pour some ground coffee around the sources from where they emerge, and you will never see them come out.
Try this hot remedy-
Pests can be too stubborn. That is why you need this strong remedy to shoo them away. For the preparation of this remedy, you will need approx. 4 liters of water mixed with hot pepper flakes or chopped peppers. If you are using hot pepper flakes, then take 3 tablespoons only. And if you are using chopped fresh peppers, then take ten in number. Put all the ingredients in a pan and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Switch the gas off and let the solution sit for around 24 hours. Strain the solution, and then before putting it in a spray bottle, mix a couple of dishwashing soap drops into it. This soap will allow the liquid stick to the plants.
Create a fly trap-
Use a bottle for the fly trap. Make sure the mouth of the bottle is funnel-shaped. Such a shape will allow the flies to get inside the bottle but not out of it. The bottle has to be partially filled with a few chopped pieces of apple and vinegar/ apple cider vinegar. Your flytrap is ready!
